The Business Center Corporation (BCC) was established in 2017 under a presidential decree, which would be the legal vehicle mandated for the operations and management of the 6 regional Business Centers (BC), established as per the SME Act (2013) and would be steering the governments SME support efforts, under the overall directions of the responsible Minister and through the advisory support of the SME Council. The Purpose of BCC is to provide support in the development of the SME Sector under the supervision of Ministry of Economic Development.
Mission
To foster, support, promote and achieve inclusive economic growth through the provision of a full range of business services to support and train local entrepreneurs, community-based organizations engaging in business, and other business development services providers and, in doing so, to contribute meaningfully to sustainable BDS capacity building and the growth of micro, small and medium sized enterprise sector in the Maldives.
Vision
To become the premiere national business development organization serving the MSME sector in the Maldives by 2020.
