Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) was established on 30th September 2020 by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, under Presidential decree vested to him by the Company's Act (Act No. 10/96), as the president. The Company was incorporated and registered at Ministry of Economic Development on 11th January 2021. The Company is set to be fully owned by the government. It was set up exclusively to oversee operations of regional airports developed by the Government and additionally to guarantee that the airports are operated in an efficient and sustainable manner. The Company will be administered in a businesslike method. Regional Airports is working with the vision of providing a well-furnished service to travelers in all its touch points. It is also Regional Airports aim to build hubs with multi-functional service outlets that will enhance and elevate people's life.
Mission
Our mission is to ensure the utmost safety for our customers and consistently working on realising our vision through mandating work allowing for sustainable growth in shareholder value, while also balancing the needs of our customers, work force, and the communities in which we work in. We, at RACL have an ambitious mission to be the most robust and dynamic aviation company in the Maldives, with strategic business plans, we have come up with business strategies which lays out the foundation of this company for the next decade.
Vision
At RACL we have devised future plans that not only connects the tiny islands of Maldives through air travel, but also acts as the active catalyst in development of the economies. We pride ourselves in being a professionally conducted company that wants development not only for the company but also the community as a whole. Thus, our main purpose, our sole vision is to progress through connectivity
