Corporate Governance Review

On 1st May 2019, Privatization and corporatization Board (PCB) has issued a corporate governance code for state owned enterprises. This code provides guidance on how the objectives of the company are set and achieved, how risk is monitored and assessed, and how performance is optimized. Furthermore, it provides recommendations on elements such as responsibilities of the board, composition of the board and sub-committees, management matters, internal and external audit and disclosure.
Aim of governance review is to understand and check compliance level of the corporate governance status of the State Owned Enterprises (SOE’s).
